Hector's Bistro

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Mazatlan. We did not have reservations, so we sat at the bar and the service we received their could not have been better. The drinks were quickly delivered with a smile. I ordered the Argentinian Vacio steak. Highly recommended. The way the steak is prepared, produces a very flavorful and tender steak and the cross grain slicing makes it almost melting in your mouth. The sticky date caramel pudding is an absolute must for dessert.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was incredible, I got the “Arm drip sandwich” and it was phenomenal, the meat was very tender, the bread was crispy, and the salad was perfect. The portion size and flavour is worth the price. I also had an “Old fashioned” bourbon cocktail and it was perfection in a glass. The service was very good, staff were very friendly, they spoke both english & spanish. The food did not take too long to arrive as well. The atmosphere and ambiance was very nice as well, quite classy. It was not noisy but we went during its off peak hours. My family had some other dishes and they were perfect as well. I definitely recommend coming to this restaurant for a good experience.

Excellent menu and service.. too many favourites here to fully list so I will just mention two of my most recent meals, the Pan Fried Sea Bass and the Risotto with shredded pork shank as simply outstanding.. And you truly CAN’T eat at Hector’s without trying the Tuna Carpaccio.. which is a stunning reminder of the joy of eating tuna in this wonderful fishing capital!

Nice clean place with Italian themed menu. Nice food and wine selections. Pork chop was the best ever, shrimp.pasta delicious, squid pasta 4 star, mussles recipe coukd be enhanced. Attentive servers, nice atmosphere.

The food was amazing! I had the arm drip au jus sandwich and my wife had the shrimp tortelloni. The au jus made the meat so very tender and went perfectly with the sourdough bread and gouda cheese that encompassed the sandwich. Best I have ever had! We paired our entrees with the pineapple basil smash and the Mexican mule drinks. My wife absolutely loved the pineapple basil smash and i thought the Mexican mule was a nice substitute for a regular Moscow mule. Lastly, we had the chocomania dish for dessert which was also very tasty. We highly recommend visiting Hector's Bistro for lunch or dinner! You won't be disappointed!
